Mr. Hamilton has lived in Newton with his family for 17years. They have five children - all grown. He is committed to ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life. He also believes that strong schools are the foundation of strong communities and will be an advocate for educational excellence.
Ken has spent the past 25 years developing and implementing software solutions for public utilities. Prior to entering the utility sector, he worked as senior manager of data warehousing and analytics for a health insurer specializing in behavioral health. He recently joined a Belgian software company as Business Solution Architect implementing customer information systems for public utilities.
Ken earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lowell. Following graduation from U Lowell, he studied computer programming and database management at Worcester Polytech. He anticipates utilizing his professional and educational background to contribute effectively to the school board.
