Dear parents of preschoolers and incoming kindergarten students,
The New Hampshire Department of Education has partnered with Waterford Upstart to offer a free, at-home early learning program to children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2022 and 2023. Starting in June, New Hampshire children will have access to the Waterford Upstart Summer Learning Path, which provides positive, parent-child interactions while delivering personalized, online instruction. Many students who complete the program will enhance their readiness for kindergarten this fall, so we encourage you to take advantage of this no-cost, valuable service and offer this opportunity to your kindergarten families at your registrations or orientations.
- During the summer program, children will engage with the curriculum for 20 minutes a day, five days a week. Register at waterford.org/newhampshire/ for the summer program.
- During the fall program, children will utilize the adaptive software 15 minutes a day, five days a week. Register at waterford.org/newhampshire-fall/ for the fall program.
New Hampshire families with a child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2022 or the fall of 2023 may call 1-888-982-9898 for more information, or visit waterford.org/upstart
